It’s Thanksgiving Day here in the US and I’m still sick, you guys. Terribly sick with the worst cold ever. I worked a double shift at my ‘day job’ (the one I’m moonlighting at.) today and man I was a hot mess, and I do another double shift on Friday. And to top it all off I’m stuck in my writing because I have too many ideas.
But I am so grateful right now. Seriously. Because I got to do the most amazing thing that I never dreamed I could do. I published three books, and people actually read them. I seriously feel like I’m living the dream, and it’s honestly thanks to you guys.
I know, I know, it’s cheesy, but there it is. I’m thankful today for you. I’m also thankful for my family here at home, and my family scattered around the globe. I know how lucky I am to be able to have them, both near and far, and I couldn’t manage to live without them. I’m thankful for my amazing theatre family as well. I’m damned lucky to work with such talented, skilled, funny, patient people (yeah, you know who you are.)
So there it is. I don’t have a “real post” today because I’ve been being run ragged by life and I’m too sick to push it very hard, but I wanted to make sure you all knew that I’m thinking of you anyway.
And I’m going to have Very Serious Questions for the folks on my mailing list, so if you want to help answer them- and they will determine the next few books y’all will get to see so these Questions are relevant to your interests- then you should make sure you’re signed up!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
